Terms of Service

Welcome to Get SLS Prints. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and our Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) manufacturing services. By uploading a file or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Manufacturing Services

1.1 Scope of Service

Get SLS Prints provides industrial-grade 3D printing using Nylon PA12. While we strive for high precision, 3D printing is an additive process. Our standard tolerances are ±0.3%, with a layer resolution of 0.11mm.

1.2 The 48-Hour Guarantee

We offer a guaranteed 48-hour turnaround (business days) from the time of order confirmation to the time the package is handed to the shipping carrier.

Exceptions: Orders exceeding standard build volume capacities or requiring post-processing beyond standard bead-blasting may require additional time.

Carrier Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS) once the parts have left our Carthage, NC facility.

Customer Responsibilities & File Integrity

2.1 File Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and “printability” of the 3D models (STEP, STL, etc.) you upload. Get SLS Prints does not provide engineering design services or guarantee that your part will function for its intended purpose.

2.2 Material Suitability

While Nylon PA12 is high-strength and heat-resistant, it is the Customer's responsibility to determine if the material is suitable for their specific application, including medical, aerospace, or food-contact uses.

Intellectual Property (IP)

3.1 Ownership

You retain 100% ownership of all designs, models, and intellectual property uploaded to our platform. Get SLS Prints claims no rights to your proprietary data.

3.2 Limited License

By uploading a file, you grant Get SLS Prints a limited, non-exclusive license to use the file solely for the purpose of:

  1. Generating an instant quote.
  2. Manufacturing your specific order.
  3. Internal quality control and troubleshooting.

3.3 Prohibited Content

You represent that you have the legal right to manufacture the files you upload. We reserve the right to refuse orders that violate ITAR regulations, infringe on patents/trademarks, or involve the production of illegal items (e.g., firearms components prohibited by law).

Payment & Refunds

4.1 Payment Processing

All payments are handled securely through Square. Production begins only after payment is confirmed.

4.2 Refund Policy

Because our products are custom-manufactured to your specific digital files, all sales are final.

Defects: If a part fails to meet our stated specifications (accuracy or material failure), please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Remakes: At our discretion, we will either provide a remake of the part or a credit toward a future order if a manufacturing defect is confirmed.

Limitation of Liability

Get SLS Prints is a manufacturing service provider. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • ■ We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of parts manufactured by us.
  • ■ Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.
  • ■ No Warranty: Parts are provided “as-is” without a warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Moore County, NC.
